Parent Councils were set up by the Scottish Government to represent the views of parents and carers across the whole of the Scottish education system.
Our primary function is to support the development and improvement of the school through the increased collaboration between families and the school.
The parent council members are all volunteers. We meet 5 times per year and aim to fairly and objectively represent the views of all parents and carers to the school's management team, working together on the school's development plan and any other subjects that may affect school life. Our meetings are very relaxed and informal and we are always looking for new support.
